Is McNabb too professional??
At this point it's tough for anybody to say that Donovan McNabb is not the most professional and classy player in the NFL. The way he has been treated by not one, but now two NFL franchises is completely laughable. After the way Andy Reid treated McNabb you would think McNabb would have grown some strong skin and would not let people run all over him and he would demand the respect he has earned as a pro bowl caliber QB in the NFL, BUT fast forward one season and he we are with Mike Shanahan and Kyle Shanahan doing basically the same thing. So my question stands...Is Donovan McNabb too professional?? At what point does he pull one of these guys aside and demand some respect??

MMMSB Fantasy Week 1 Stats
So I know we did not get a chance to get you all of our fantasy sleepers and picks, but we want to update you on week 1 stats for the picks that we did give you.
Julius Jones:19 cars 117 yds. 1 TD
Ray Rice: 19 cars 108 yds
Lamont Jordan: 2 cars 5 yds
Beanie Wells: 7 cars 29 yds
Shaun Hill: 18/31 209 yds 1 TD
Brady Quinn:21/35 205 yds 1 TD 1 INT
Some ok numbers for week one. We'll see where things go with these picks throughout the season.
This would not be complete without a look into the inspiration for this whole blog...my true MAIN MAN JC:
JC: 19/26 211 yds 1 TD 1 INT
-Now I must admit I did not see a lot of this game...however from what I have seen and heard, JC is not the sole reason why my Skins and 0-1 and if I look at the stats he did not do too bad for week 1 against arguably the best D-Line in the league. Comments??

My Friday RB picks with a bonus pick included!
RB's....ahhhh...my favorite position. The one that I played through my whole prep career and into college until my coach told me I sucked at pass pro and had no chance at getting on the field at RB because he was afraid to put me in on pass plays because I might get his QB killed...
Now to the picks:
1.) My Super Main Man! Lamont Jordan; Denver Broncos
-Helped recruit this kid to college park, I know him personally and I'm telling you he will shine in Denver's RB friendly offense. He has great vision and patience which is key with this offense. Now they do have a new coach, which could be a wildcard, but I don't think the young guy will make to many changes early on. The rookie Moreno may share carries with Jordan, but I still 8-11 TDS for him this year
2.) Chris "BIG BOI BENNIE" Wells, Arizona Cardinals
- I like Wells to push the old guy Jmaes for playing time as the season wears on. He is like to also get a lot of touches near the goaline for some TD's. As much as I hate OSU running backs I think this kid has good fantasy value this season as maybe your 3rd RB taken on your team. Something to hold in your back pocket for the first few weeks to see how things go in Arizona.
3.) Julius Jones; Seattle Seahawks
- Weak conference and a favorable schedule will make this sleeper a great pick as even a 2nd RB taken on your team as he will be the full-time starter in Seattle this year. I say 1,200+ yards with 10TDS minimum. He should have a chip still on his shoulder from Dallas dealing him instead of the human recking ball Marion Barber.
BONUS PICK:
Ray Rice; Baltimore Ravens
-Rice came on pretty strong towards the end of last season and should be ready for a big 2009. Even though he did not get into the endzone last year this dude was a TD machine in college and should look to see more carries and time even though he will be splitting carries with Willis McGahee.

BOLD STATEMENT OF THE DAY(BSTD)!!
JC...Jason Campbell..."MY MAIN MAN" is going to be a pro bowl QB in the 2009 season! He was on his way in 2008 and then the o-line got a lil nicked up and it cost him. The line is young healthy and ready to play the old hogs!

Looks like JC is just a few good breaks away from the top NFC QB to me!! 12 less sacks and maybe those would have been 12 touchdown throws and that puts my boy at 25 TD's on the season which is pretty good for a young gun!

MMSB Fantasy QB Sleepers
MMSB is really picking up steam lately which is why we missed you guys on our QB picks yesterday. So we will have QB's here and RB's later today. A double dandy today folks. We had a big meeting with Under Armour execs yesterday about a marketing deal that will keep MMSB a free service to our followers. Now to the pics:
Looking at a fantasy QB is very different from looking a QB to run your team. For a real QB you are looking for mechanics etc..., but at the end of the day a winner. When we consider our fantasy QB's we are looking for one thing, numbers. That's it! Who can pile up the fantasy points is the name of the game. Here is who we think my fly under the radar and post some big numbers for your fantasy teams.
QB:
1. Brady Quinn: Cleavland Browns
-I like Brady to win the starting role here with the Browns and I like the brash kid even though everyone knows how deep my dislike for his Irish runs. They have a great No. 1 in Braylon Edwards and have drafted heavily at WR to give him more solid targets.
2. Shaun Hill: San Fransisco 49er's
- Hill had a very respectable season last year, but I expect him and the 9 er's to be much improved this season. Of course they have a great back in Frank Gore to keep pressure off of the young QB, but more importantly I'm looking for a big year out of "MY BOY" Vedo, better known to the outside world as Vernon Davis. I saw him and spoke with him just a few weeks ago and the kid is in the best shape of his life with a chip on his shoulder. People are ready to call him a bust and he knows it. I also think Crabtree has a chip on his shoulder after "my main man" Darrius Heyward-Bey took the top receiver spot in the draft.

Joe Theisman says this about Jason Campbell...
"I think the one thing that I see more than anything is there's going to be some be consistency around him," Theismann said. "He's finally in a system where he actually gets to practice the same things that he practiced last year and he gets to grow from them. And as a quarterback or as anybody studying film, when you look at yourself on film, you know why you made certain decisions. In Jason's case, seven of the last nine years, or eight years, both college and professionally, when he looks at film, it doesn't apply to the coming year because it's all different, so he's never really growing during the season. He will in this particular year. I watched him in spring ball, in the OTAs and the minicamps [and he's] much more confident, much more comfortable.
"Last year, Jim Zorn rebuilt his throwing style. He's got great size, he's got a great arm, he's got a terrific work ethic. I think that this young man -- and he's in the last year of a contract, so there's super motivation there -- but I think he's going to have a football team around him that will be a much better football team than it was a year ago."
